Student Publications Exhibit

The University of Miami’s Student Publications

Student publications of the University of Miami have been documenting campus activities and student life since the founding of the institution in 1926. The University’s 85 year history can be revisited by examining student publications such as The Miami Hurricane and the IBIS yearbooks. These important historical resources have been heavily utilized by alumni, current students, and many UM schools and departments. The University Archives has been collecting and preserving such titles and would like to offer you a fresh look at them through this exhibition. Currently on display are items from the Miami Hurricane, the IBIS yearbook, Tempo magazine, and other historical and recent student publications.
