How to request materials for Course Reserves:
1. Submit a request online. Note: We recommend submitting no more than 10 items per form.
2. Print out and complete a Course Reserves Request Form (PDF) for each course.
3. For physical items that do not belong to the University of Miami Libraries [i.e., personal copies], please fill out the Personal Copy Waiver (PDF) in addition to the Course Reserves Request Form. Submit the completed forms at the Otto G. Richter Library’s 1st Floor Circulation Desk along with the accompanying Course Reserves materials.
Please allow two weeks lead-time for processing materials. For more information, contact Course Reserves, Richter Library, 1st Floor, 305-284-3234, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please see our Fair Use Guidelines and Checklist for Fair Use Analysis for Electronic Reserves for more information on the use of reproductions in course reserves.
New Course Reserves System (Leganto)
The library is transitioning to a new Reserves System that is integrated into our new Library System. Leganto works directly with Blackboard to display course reserves for students. This new system also allows Faculty to create, review and update their reading list for classes directly. If you are interested in working with this new system, please review the information below and contact Course Reserves.
