RSM 650. Data Management in the Research Environment. 2 Credit Hours.
After two years as an experimental graduate student course at RSMAS, Data Management in the Research Environment has found a permanent home on the RSMAS course catalog. The course is open to both masters and PhD students who want to improve their research data management skills in terms of efficiency, compliance and security. There are no prerequisites and students from any discipline are welcome. While all students will benefit from the theoretical data science presented in this course, students with limited command line computing experience will benefit most from the practical aspects of learning basic programming with python and R.
