Our metadata staff collaborates with the Department of Digital Scholarship and Programs to provide intellectual access to digital scholarly resources unique to the University of Miami. We work closely with our stakeholders to determine the resource description needs of each one of our digital collections.

Metadata creation is managed using the CONTENTdm digital repository service.  The metadata describes and covers a wide variety of formats, including photographs, correspondence, diaries, scrapbooks, books, audio and video recordings, and other materials selected and digitized from collections held in the Otto G. Richter Library (Cuban Heritage Collection, Special Collections, and University Archives), School of Architecture, and Frost School of Music, as well as Digital Scholarship, the digital projects developed in collaboration with teaching faculty to support learning and instruction.
