Q: What online services does the library provide?
A: The UM Libraries’ provides online services available for all UM employees.
Q: How do I request circulating materials, such as books or other materials?
A: Books and other materials can be requested for pick-up at Richter and other libraries. Requested materials can be picked up at the Access Services desk of any library during our hours of operations. The book stacks are physically closed for browsing to all non-library employees.
Q: Beyond picking up or dropping off library materials, do I need an appointment to visit the library?
A: No, unless you want to book an individual study room at UM Libraries.
Q: What resources are available for parents?
A: The UM Libraries’ provides resources for children ages K-12 and mindfulness programs.
Q: What types of creativity tools and technologies can I check out?
A: Learn about the Creative Studio’s equipment loaning program.
Q: How do I return a book or other library materials?
A: Book returns are available at all library locations during hours of operation. The Richter Library book drop in the Breezeway outside the library is always open.
