The University of Miami Friends of the Libraries is a library support organization founded in 1960 by a group of University of Miami faculty, alumni, and community leaders. The Friends play a vital role in supporting programs, securing gifts, and funding projects for the Libraries and are instrumental in ensuring the University of Miami remains one of the foremost research institutions in the world.

Community members interested in sharing in our important mission, to educate and nurture students, to create knowledge, and to provide service in and beyond our community through our collections, are encouraged to join the Friends of the Libraries.

To become a member of the Friends of the University of Miami Libraries, download the membership form, contact friendsoftheumlibraries@miami.edu, or visit our Access Desk.
