Didier Mutel is an artist whose book creations deploy old-school techniques like acid printing, calligraphy, and bookbinding by hand to create a new aesthetic “reading” experience. Mutel’s storytelling encourages his audience to observe the link between traditional techniques and modern applications and explore the relationship between looking back and moving forward.
The event coincides with the ongoing Flori-zines exhibition featuring an important collection of handmade zine publications driven by the long-lasting underground movement in Florida.
