Mindfulness Meditation and Movement Sessions for Cultivating Inner Resilience in Challenging Times


What to Expect

Learn skills and strategies for living through challenging times with greater ease, sense of well-being, and belonging. The “Breathe and Be” Program consists of 60-minutes in-person sessions that combine guided meditation, breathing, and conscious movement practices. The Program also provides opportunities for reflection and questions. Led by certified mindfulness and yoga teachers with a dedication to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and healing learning environment, this program is informed by current research and ancient wisdom. No prior experience is needed.

Teacher

Guayana Paez-Acosta, MSc is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500 hr.) and Founder and Director of the Athena Lab for Social Change.

Location

All sessions are in-person. The majority of sessions will be held in Richter Library, 1st Floor, Learning Commons, Flexible Program Space B.

Registration Required

Space is limited. Registration is required for spring sessions beginning January 30, 2025. Please click here.

Equipment

No equipment is needed. Yoga mats and meditation cushions are provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own mat and cushion, if you would like. Comfortable clothing is suggested.
