What business databases are available through the UM Libraries?

• The UM Libraries provides access to over 700 online databases in many subject disciplines. Within the subject discipline of business there are over 100 databases. These databases provide information such as company profiles, SEC filings, industry surveys, market research data, country economic statistics, time series data, online newspapers, and scholarly articles. • The Judi Prokop Newman Information Resource Center, a subject-specialty library has developed several business research guides that identify resources for company, industry, entrepreneurship, health sector policy, real estate, and business case studies research. Does the UM Libraries provide resources for specific courses?

• Similar to subject research guides, customized course guides have been developed for core courses that have a project component. Each course guide is customized to the course’s project outline and identifies library resources which support student research. How can the UM Libraries help me in setting up an electronic reading list within Blackboard?

• The UM Libraries can setup an online reading list for your class whereby your students can link to the articles within Blackboard. To setup a Blackboard online reading list, fill out the request form at: https://library.miami.edu/course-reserves-form/

Can I get help with creativity tools and technologies through the UM Libraries?

How can I manage my citations and properly format them?
